The Yankees’ Manny Options for the Offseason

So, as you saw in the title of this article, the Bronx Bombers do indeed have
Manny options this offseason (pun intended), and today, we look at at few:
–MANNY MACHADO 2018 stats: .297 AVG, 37 HR, 107 RBI, .367 OBP, : Well, it’s no secret that the Yanks have been keeping their eye on Machado, and with Manny expected to sign a contract of over $300 million, no one is more likely to spend than the Yankees’. This and with the news of Didi out with Tommy John surgery for the first couple of months of 2019, Manny would be the perfect guy to slide in. The Yankees’ GM Brian Cashman has said, despite his name, that it doesn’t take 250 million dollars to win a World Series. I think he’s right, it might take $300 million.
Projected 2019 stats if he goes to the Yanks (by Baseball-reference.com): 96 games, .301 AVG, 565 at-bats, RBI: 87
Likeliness to sign with the Yanks: 85%
SUGGESTED DEAL: 10 Years, $310 million
–Zach Britton 2018 stats: ERA:3.10 WHIP:1.230 SO:34 Sv:7: Zach Britton has been pretty solid throughout his career, with a career ERA of 3.21, and a career WAR of 11.7. Britton is also only 30, and the Yankees probably can squeeze some more good years out of him.
Projected 2019 stats if he goes to the Yanks (by Baseball-reference.com): ERA: 3.29, WHIP: 1.164, SO: 47, Sv:5
Likeliness to sign with the Yanks: 25%
SUGGESTED DEAL: 4 Years, $68 Million
David Robertson 2018 stats: ERA:3.23 WHIP:1.033 SO:91 SV:5: D-Rob has had a pretty good career, starting as the legendary Mariano Rivera’s apprintience, helping the Bombers win a world series, and coming to be a good player, with a 2.78 ERA, an average of 92 strikeouts per season, and over 655 innings pitched, Robertson is a pretty good player, that comes at a good price. None of his paychecks has exceeded $13 Million.
Projected 2019 stats if he goes to the Yanks(by Baseball-reference.com): ERA: 3.34, WHIP: 1.114, SO: 80, SV:6
Likeliness to sign with the Yanks: 40%
SUGGESTED DEAL: $30 million, 3 years
